CAMERAZZ

Vivitar Tele 603
I found this camera in my basement before I moved. I bought 110 film for this camera at my visit to the International Center of Photography with Sarah. This is how the negatives come out:

I finished the roll and I have to find somewhere to get it developed.
If anyone knows a place, let me know!

Polaroid Spectra
I've had this camera for a year or two now and the great thing about it is the filters you can buy to attach to it.
I have both filter sets now and I'm excited to experiment with them.
I'm going to bring this camera to the United Blood Festival at the end of March to get a lot of cool shots.
Every time I have my History of Photography class I get really excited about taking more photos!

EAT. SLEEP. FOLK.

Accidentally, Brian and I ended up at the blender theatre to see Loudon Wainwright III perform. He sang traditional folk music (which is my favorite type of music) with the help of a mandolin player and his son, Rufus Wainwright. He was comedic with his drinking songs which were inevitably about not drinking because of the harm it causes in relationships. I spent most of the night either laughing or shedding tears when he plucked and played the banjo.

Folk music is great because its pure - its not censored like most music these days. Folk songs are story telling songs dating back since humans were in existence. Its sad to see the music of this era. All you really need is a laptop and software to make music. The only difference is its not true- its not from the heart like folk music is. Playing instruments should be key in a band.

enjoy!

and i guess this is a good time to do this. time appropriate and all
Does anyone know anyone who's getting rid of a banjo? I've been looking around with no luck for ages. Just taking a chance by asking cause last time i did this with my drumset and i got a reply the next day. THANK YOU!

Bryan Berg

Sometimes, I wish my name was Bryan with a Y, with the last name Berg, so I could excel in card stacking. That's probably the only reason why I would want my name to be Bryan, but that's besides the point. This guy makes some amazing stuff. Check out his site:

This was my best attempt at card stacking:

Yo Momma!

This is Colin's friend Robbie on Yo Momma! I find it quite hilarious when he makes fun of the big guy instead of insulting his mom. Colin, James & I found this one night and were dying of laughter. They even make him pretend he's from the Bronx. He's the one with the purple Ween shirt on. Enjoy:

Sarah & I went to a great show the other day at Less Artists, More Condos in lower Manhattan. We had a whole lot of fun despite the extreme heat from the sold out crowd. Thank goodness for the big fan. Here's some pics I found from the Village Voice:

CLOUD NINEZZ

These are the clouds Sarah & I made a month or two ago. I wanted to post these pictures for a while, but I just got my camera back finally. We bought pillow fluff material and bunched it together. We then stringed lights through the fluff to make the clouds illuminate. I think they came out really nice. The lights weren't working yesterday, I hope we can fix them! Check them out:

EBAY PICKUPZZZ

Here is an update on some stuff I have picked up on ebay lately.

Super Speak & Spell - $26.56

I got this in hopes of doing some more circuit bending stuff with James. We started bending my Speak & Math and its currently a work in progress. I will update you on both of these happenings.

Weekend Nachos - Discography CD - $14.00

I picked this CD up for my growing Weekend Nachos collection and it features the Torture 7" and the Punish & Destroy LP on a CD format. I have gotten many Nachos merchandise from this seller, I think he put some of the records out.

All - Problematic Tour Shirt - L - $30.54

I really liked the look of this shirt and you can never go wrong with the Descendents/ALL crew. I'm hoping this baby is a perfect fit.

WATCHING:

Arab on Radar - Soak The Saddle LP

I need this record for my almost finished AOR collection. Yahweh or the Highway is another album I need on LP.

Polaroid Spectra Creative Effects Filters

I want to get these for my spectra camera to go along with my other set of filters. Sarah and I have been trying to use it, but the spectra film is hard to come by. I need to watch some of that on eBay.

my inspiration for this week

No, this isn't the streetart created by banksy, obey, or neckface. This is judith Supine - a collage artist who works on the streets of NYC.

I'm on the lookout for new frames!

JAZZBREAKER

Rob sent me this link & my jaw dropped.

Wow. What could be better than a big band tribute to Jawbreaker? The only way this could improve is if Blake sang for it, that would be incredible. I'm now picturing that in my head and I'm laughing so hard.
